There are more than 5 million Latino businesses that open early, that sustain themselves through hard work, and that often carry the name of their founder, of their children, or of the place they came from.
A few years ago we launched Upfunding to support those businesses with financing solutions designed to help them move forward. From the start, our goal was to make the process simpler, faster, and clearer for those who need to make important decisions without wasting time or facing unnecessary hassles.
Today we take an important step in that same direction. As our relationship with our customers has grown, we realized that our name should also better reflect what we want to be for them: a closer company, easier to remember, and more aligned with the way we support Latino businesses. That is why we are introducing our new name: Luca.
For our customers, Luca represents a simpler way to access financing. An agile, clear, and pressure-free process, designed so that every business owner can understand their options, make decisions with confidence, and keep moving at the pace their business needs.
For us, Luca is an evolution of our purpose. We are still the same team, with the same experience and the same commitment to supporting businesses with closeness, clarity, and confidence. We changed our name, but we did not change what matters most: our way of being present, listening, and making the path easier.
